Render a House

Account and Settings

Manage your profile, language, billing, and session.

Your account settings live behind the avatar menu in the top-right corner of the app.

Opening your account menu

Click your avatar (top-right) to open the menu:

User menu dropdown

The dropdown shows:

  • Your name, email, and stats (renders / views / projects)
  • Manage Subscription — plan, credits, billing, payment methods, invoices, cancel
  • Language — switch between English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian
  • Sign out

The credit counter

Your current usage is always visible next to your avatar, even without opening the menu:

Credit counter with render and video totals

Two numbers are displayed:

  • 📷 Renders remaining (still image credits)
  • 🎥 Video seconds remaining (only relevant if you have video on your plan)

Profile

Profile management (name, email, password, social logins) is handled through our auth provider. Open it from the avatar menu and changes save automatically.

Changing your email

Self-service email changes are not available for existing accounts — changing the email of an account requires identity verification. Reach out via Chat with human and support will update it after verifying you're the account owner.

Language

Render a House supports four languages for the app interface:

  • English (en)
  • Spanish (es)
  • Portuguese (pt)
  • Italian (it)

Language picker in user menu

Change your language from the avatar menu → Language. The UI reloads in the new language immediately.

Docs are (for now) English-only, with translations planned. See the FAQ for language details.

Manage subscription

From the avatar menu → Manage Subscription — this opens the Stripe customer portal where you can:

  • See your current plan, renewal date, and billing history
  • Update your credit card
  • Download past invoices
  • Switch between Monthly and Annual
  • Buy prepaid render packs (no subscription required, no expiration)
  • Cancel your subscription (you keep access until the end of the current period)

If Manage Subscription doesn't load, try incognito mode or a different browser. If it still doesn't open, reach out to support.

Viewing your plan and usage

Inside the subscription page you'll see:

  • Your current plan (Free / Pro)
  • Renders used this period and remaining
  • Next billing date (for Pro)
  • Invoice history

Cancelling

You can cancel any time. You keep paid access until the end of the current billing period, then drop to Free automatically. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period.

Payment methods

  • Credit and debit cards (Stripe processes payments)
  • You cannot remove a card while a subscription is active — cancel first, then remove the card
  • Argentinian debit cards work if enabled for international USD transactions
  • Bank will do currency conversion, adding local taxes where applicable

Credits and usage

See Plans and Pricing for the full credit model. In short:

  • Render and edit actions consume credits
  • Video consumes credits per second of generated video
  • Enhance (Improve quality) consumes one credit
  • Failed renders don't charge credits

When you're out of credits, the Render button stops working until your quota refreshes (daily on Free, monthly on Pro) or you upgrade / buy a pack.

Notifications

Render a House sends email notifications for:

  • Billing receipts and invoices (automatically, on every charge)
  • Subscription changes (upgrade, cancellation, renewal)
  • Occasional product updates

Invoices come from Render a House LLC via Stripe.

Signing out

Click your avatar → Sign out. You'll return to the landing page. Your projects, folders, renders, and history are preserved — log back in to access them.

Deleting projects

To delete a project, open the project-name dropdown at the top-left of the editor → Delete project. Deletion is permanent — there's no recycle bin. See Projects and Views.

Deleting your account

To permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact support via the Chat with human button. The team will verify your identity and remove the account plus all your projects.

You can't delete an account that has an unpaid invoice — cancel and settle any outstanding charge first.

Moving projects between accounts

If you created projects on one email and want to move them to a different account, contact support. You'll need to provide both emails. Render a House does not allow sharing a single account across multiple users — the recommended path for teams is a single shared studio account.

Teams and enterprise

For studios and larger teams interested in a dedicated Enterprise plan (seats, shared billing, priority support), get in touch — we'll tailor a plan to your team's needs.
