Epic’s own licensing FAQ confirms it: full features, commercial work permitted, for any individual or company under $1M in annual revenue. What does Twinmotion actually need from your machine?.

Even the free tier is not free of hardware. Twinmotion needs 16GB of RAM and a 6GB graphics card at minimum, and unlocking its Path Tracer — the mode that gets closest to a ray-traced final image — needs a specific NVIDIA RTX or AMD RX 6000-series card with 8GB of VRAM, on top of the base floor.

Render a House removes that question rather than lowering the bar: it runs in a browser, on a laptop with no discrete graphics card at all, because the render happens off the machine in front of you.

What Render a House cannot do.

  • Navigate a live 3D viewport. Render a House produces still images from a description, not an interactive fly-through.
  • Match Twinmotion's Direct Link sync. Render a House works from an exported file, updated manually, not a live model connection.
  • Run without any graphics card at all — that is the one place it beats Twinmotion, which still needs one to meet even its base floor.
  • Stand in for a design decision unchecked. A render is a concept image; check openings, proportions and materials against the model before it goes to a client.

Is Render a House the right Twinmotion alternative for you?.

If you are under the revenue threshold and the workstation meets the GPU floor, probably not — Twinmotion is free and already does the live-walkthrough job well.
