Vizcom costs $0 on Starter, $49 per user per month on Professional billed monthly, or $480 per user per year billed annually ($40 a month). Enterprise is quoted by sales, and the Education plan is free for verified students and educators. Below: what each plan includes, how credits work, and when another tool is the better buy. For architecture, Render a House is the more efficient alternative: it renders from your own design in the browser with no GPU; failed renders don't use credits, and each render includes up to 2 free retries if the result isn't right.

Quick answer
Quick answer: Starter is free with 800 credits a month, Professional is $49/user/mo billed monthly or $480/user/yr billed annually with 20,000 credits a month, Enterprise is contact-sales, and Education is $0 with 15,000 credits a month, per Vizcom’s pricing page. If you need a render of a building from your own model rather than a product concept, Render a House is the more efficient alternative for architecture, a no-GPU, browser-based option that renders from your own design, starting free with 3 credits a day; failed renders don't use credits, and each render includes up to 2 free retries if the result isn't right.

What each Vizcom plan includes
Starter — free
Free, no credit card required. 800 credits a month, basic AI creation tools, standard render speeds, 10 files, one seat, unlimited file viewers and Discord community support. The pricing page estimates the allowance at about 200 images, 14 animations or 20 3D models a month. Starter cannot buy add-on credits; when credits run out you wait for the monthly reset or upgrade.
Professional — $49/mo
$49 per user per month billed monthly, or $480 per user per year. 20,000 credits a month (about 5,000 images, 360 animations or 500 3D models per the pricing page), unlimited files, priority render queue, multi-image generation, 4K exports, Live Render, add-on credits and full design privacy. Support moves from Discord to the Vizcom team.
Enterprise — contact sales
Contact sales. Vizcom lists the highest usage limits, fastest renders, unlimited seats and teams, team management, centralized billing, audit and access logs, single sign-on, custom security and dedicated priority support. Price: Not published (checked October 2026).
Education — free for students
$0 for currently enrolled post-secondary students and design educators at accredited institutions, per Vizcom for Students and Vizcom for Educators. You verify with a .edu email or proof of enrollment; most applications are approved within 24–72 hours, and access renews annually with re-verification. The pricing page lists 15,000 credits a month with add-ons and a priority queue. The license covers learning and coursework; commercial work needs a professional plan. Educators get a free Vizcom Workspace for classes.
How Vizcom credits work
Every action draws from one credit balance that resets each billing cycle, per Vizcom Credits. Base credits do not roll over; add-on credits do, and do not expire. Base credits are spent first. The exact credit cost is shown before each action, and Vizcom publishes uses per month by plan rather than per-action costs:
| Feature | Starter | Professional | Education |
|---|---|---|---|
| Render / Refine | 80 | 2,000 | 150 |
| Modify | 200 | 5,000 | 3,750 |
| Animate (seconds) | 72 | 1,805 | 1,354 |
| Make 3D | 20 | 500 | 375 |
| Enhance | 134 | 3,333 | 2,500 |
Dividing the plan price by those counts (our arithmetic, not a Vizcom figure): 2,000 Render/Refine actions on Professional work out to $0.025 each billed monthly, or $0.020 billed annually. Vizcom calls these counts estimates. Its Education row for Render/Refine (150) is much lower than its other Education figures suggest, and the student page describes the plan as 500 Modify Pro generations, 50 animations and 100 3D generations a month, so check the in-app counter before relying on it.
Annual vs monthly: the math
Twelve monthly Professional payments cost $49 × 12 = $588 per seat. Annual billing is $480, so you save $108 per seat per year, about 18.4%. The pricing page toggle says “save 30%” and the billing doc says 20%; the published prices give 18.4%. A three-person team on annual Professional pays $1,440 a year, against $1,764 paying monthly.
Switching monthly to annual takes effect immediately with a prorated credit for unused time; switching annual to monthly takes effect at the end of the current term.
What costs extra
- Add-on credits. Pro and Education users can buy credit bundles from settings, charged to the card on file, per Vizcom Credits. Bundle sizes and prices: Not published (checked October 2026).
- Extra editors. Each Admin or Editor is a paid seat; Viewers are free.
- Enterprise security. SSO, audit logs and custom watermarks are Enterprise-only.
- Free trial of Professional. Vizcom’s privacy FAQ mentions users trialing a paid plan, but trial length and terms: Not published (checked October 2026).
- Privacy on the free plan. Per the privacy FAQ, Starter users keep copyright but grant Vizcom a license to use their content to operate, promote and improve the service; paid plans keep content private. For unreleased client work, Professional is the practical entry price.
Vizcom pricing compared to Render a House
Render a House is an AI rendering tool for architects and real estate. It runs in the browser with no GPU and renders from your own design: upload a SketchUp .skp directly, a GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL model, a sketch, a photo, or a plan exported to PNG/JPG. Large images are downscaled automatically, and a render takes about 30–60 seconds.
| Tool | Free plan | Paid entry | Unit cost | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Render a House | 3 credits/day at 1K with a watermark, no card | Pro $39/mo billed monthly or $312/yr ($26/mo billed annually), 240 credits/mo | 1K render = 1 credit ($0.16 on Pro); 4K = 2 credits, Pro only | Architecture and real estate renders from your model, sketch or photo |
| Vizcom | Starter: 800 credits/mo, 10 files | Professional $49/user/mo billed monthly or $480/user/yr | ≈ $0.025 per Render/Refine on Professional (our math) | Industrial, footwear, apparel, automotive and gaming concept design |
Read honestly, Vizcom’s Professional plan is cheaper per generated image, and its sketch tools, 3D generation and Live Render are built for product designers. Render a House costs more per render but is aimed at a different job: keeping your building’s geometry, camera and proportions. Paid plans add video, every render gets up to 2 free retries if it comes out wrong, and projects can be shared by email with edit access (there are no team seats or roles). Help is available through the in-app chat and the support page.

When Vizcom makes sense
Vizcom makes sense if you design products: sneakers, cars, consumer goods, toys. Starter is a real free tier, Education is free for students, and Professional’s 20,000 monthly credits go a long way for sketch-to-render ideation. Pay annually if you will use it all year.
Consider an alternative if you are an architect, interior designer or real estate marketer who already has a SketchUp model, plan or site photo and needs a faithful render of that design. Our Vizcom vs Render a House comparison goes deeper on the workflow. Try Render a House free, see plans, or estimate a project with the render cost calculator.
