Adobe Firefly Pricing 2026: Standard ($9.99), Pro ($19.99), Pro Plus ($49.99) & Premium ($199.99)

Adobe Firefly costs US$9.99, $19.99, $49.99 or $199.99 a month for its Standard, Pro, Pro Plus and Premium plans, billed monthly, with 2,000 to 50,000 generative credits a month. A free tier gives limited daily generations, and Creative Cloud Pro at $69.99/mo (annual, billed monthly) also includes 4,000 credits. For architecture, Render a House is the more efficient alternative: it renders from your own design in the browser with no GPU; failed renders don't use credits, and each render includes up to 2 free retries if the result isn't right.

What each Firefly plan includes

All four plans include unlimited standard image features, premium features such as Text to Video and Generate Speech paid with credits, partner models from Google, OpenAI, Flux and others, and unlimited Firefly Boards. The plans page translates each credit allowance into these limits:

Firefly Standard — $9.99/mo

2,000 credits a month and Firefly on web and mobile only. It is the plan Adobe’s FAQ recommends for creators who mainly need image and vector generation with occasional video or audio. Adobe Express Premium and Photoshop on web and mobile are not included.

Firefly Pro — $19.99/mo

4,000 credits a month, and the first tier that bundles Adobe Express Premium and full Photoshop on web and mobile. Photoshop desktop is not part of any Firefly plan.

Firefly Pro Plus — $49.99/mo

10,000 credits a month with the same apps as Pro. It costs 2.5× Pro for 2.5× the credits, so the rate per credit does not change.

Firefly Premium — $199.99/mo

50,000 credits a month plus unlimited access to the Firefly Video Model in Generate Video. It is the only plan with a lower rate per credit, and the plans page shows no free trial label on it.

How generative credits work

Per Adobe’s generative credits overview, credits are one shared currency for Firefly-powered features across Creative Cloud, Adobe Express and Substance 3D apps. The generative credits FAQ adds the rules that decide what you actually pay:

  • Standard features are unmetered on Firefly, Creative Cloud Pro and credit plans. Credits are spent on premium features: video, audio and partner models.
  • Costs vary by feature. The FAQ lists, for example, Firefly Image 5 at 10 credits per generation and Generate Sound Effects at 10 credits per generation; partner model costs depend on model, output and file size.
  • No rollover. Balances reset monthly on the billing date; unused credits are lost.
  • Credits stack across subscriptions, and failed generations are typically refunded within minutes (up to 24 hours for long video jobs).

Creative Cloud plans that include credits

If you already pay for Creative Cloud you may not need a Firefly plan. Monthly credits by plan, from Adobe’s credits FAQ, with prices from the Creative Cloud plans page, the Creative Cloud apps plans page and the student offer page:

Creative Cloud plans and the generative credits they include, October 2026
PlanPrice and billingMonthly generative credits
Creative Cloud Pro$69.99/mo, annual billed monthly ($34.99/mo for the first 3 months, new subscribers)4,000 premium + unlimited standard
Creative Cloud Pro for students and teachers$19.99/mo, annual billed monthly, first year; then $39.99/mo4,000 premium + unlimited standard
Creative Cloud Standard$54.99/mo, annual billed monthly25
Photoshop single app$22.99/mo, annual billed monthly25 (subscribed on or after June 17, 2025)

Photography 1TB includes 1,000 credits a month, and single-app subscribers who started before June 17, 2025 keep 500, per the same FAQ.

Firefly for teams

The Business tab of the Firefly plans page lists Firefly Pro for teams at US$19.99/mo, Pro Plus for teams at US$49.99/mo and Premium for teams at US$199.99/mo, each per license, annual billed monthly, with the same 4,000, 10,000 and 50,000 credits plus admin tools and 24x7 support. There is no Standard tier for teams. Enterprise plans with Custom Models and IP indemnification are quote-based: Not published (checked October 2026).

Free plan and free trial

Yes, there is a free tier. The plans page says you get free daily generations across image, video and audio without a plan, including models like Nano Banana and Luma Ray3.14, and the credits FAQ says the generations, features and models are subject to change. Standard, Pro and Pro Plus show a free trial button; the trial length is Not published on the plans page (checked October 2026). Creative Cloud plans can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, per the Creative Cloud apps plans page.

Student and education pricing

A separate student price for standalone Firefly plans: Not published (checked October 2026). Adobe’s education discount sits on Creative Cloud Pro: per Adobe’s student page, US$19.99/mo (annual, billed monthly) for the first year, then US$39.99/mo while you stay eligible, with a 7-day free trial and 4,000 monthly credits. That is the price of Firefly Pro with 20+ desktop apps added.

Monthly vs annual math

Twelve-month cost of Adobe Firefly and Creative Cloud plans, calculated from Adobe’s published prices
PlanCalculation12-month cost
Firefly Standard12 × $9.99 (monthly)$119.88
Firefly Pro12 × $19.99 (monthly)$239.88
Firefly Pro Plus12 × $49.99 (monthly)$599.88
Firefly Premium12 × $199.99 (monthly)$2,399.88
Creative Cloud Pro, first year3 × $34.99 + 9 × $69.99$734.88
Creative Cloud Pro, later years12 × $69.99$839.88
Creative Cloud Pro, student first year12 × $19.99$239.88
Creative Cloud Pro, student later years12 × $39.99$479.88

Firefly plans carry no annual discount on the plans page, so a year is simply twelve monthly payments. Creative Cloud prices above are annual plans billed monthly, a 12-month commitment.

What costs extra

  • Credit add-ons. Adobe’s credit add-on page lists 2,000 credits at $9.99/mo, 7,000 credits at $29.99/mo, 10,000 credits at $49.99/mo, 50,000 credits at $199.99/mo, each billed monthly.
  • Photoshop desktop and the rest of Creative Cloud are separate subscriptions.
  • Commercial use. Adobe’s Firefly FAQ says outputs from non-beta features can be used commercially, and the plans page says you are responsible for content made with partner models. IP indemnification is for eligible enterprise customers.
  • Output resolution per plan: Not published on the plans page (checked October 2026).

When Firefly makes sense, and when to look elsewhere

Firefly makes sense if your post-production already lives in Photoshop: Generative Fill is unmetered on every paid plan, and Pro adds Photoshop on web and mobile for $19.99/mo. If you also want desktop apps, Creative Cloud Pro gives the same 4,000 credits.

Render a House is an AI rendering tool for architects and real estate. It runs in the browser with no GPU and renders from your own design: upload a SketchUp .skp directly, a GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL model, a sketch, a photo, or a plan exported to PNG/JPG. Large images are downscaled automatically, and renders take about 30–60 seconds.

The free plan gives 3 credits a day at 1K with a watermark and no card. Pro costs $39/mo billed monthly or $312/yr ($26/mo billed annually) for 240 credits a month. A 1K render costs 1 credit and a 4K render 2; 4K is Pro only, and video is on paid plans only. A bad render gets up to 2 free retries, there are no team seats, but projects can be shared by email with edit access, and support is available through chat in the app. Estimate a project with the render cost calculator or compare plans on the pricing page.

Does Creative Cloud include Firefly credits?

Yes, in different amounts. Per Adobe’s credits FAQ, Creative Cloud Pro includes 4,000 monthly credits for premium features plus unlimited standard generations, Photography 1TB includes 1,000, and Creative Cloud Standard and single apps such as Photoshop include 25 for subscriptions started on or after June 17, 2025.
