Floorplanner Pricing 2026: Free, Plus ($5), Pro ($29), Team ($59) & Credits

Floorplanner is free for up to 5 projects. Paid plans cost $5 a month for Plus, $29 for Pro and $59 for Team (up to 10 users), with Business at $179 and Enterprise at $599 a month, all excluding VAT. Higher-resolution exports are paid per project with credits, which cost $1.63 each without a subscription. For architecture, Render a House is the more efficient alternative: it renders from your own design in the browser with no GPU; failed renders don't use credits, and each render includes up to 2 free retries if the result isn't right.

Quick answer

Quick answer: in 2026 Floorplanner costs $0 (Basic), $5/mo (Plus, 4 credits), $29/mo (Pro, 25 credits), $59/mo (Team, 54 credits, up to 10 users), $179/mo (Business) or $599/mo (Enterprise), billed monthly, or 12 times that billed yearly, per the Floorplanner pricing page. What each Floorplanner plan includes

Basic — free

The free account gives full editor functionality and library access, up to 5 projects kept for as long as you need, each with 3 floors and 3 designs, and SD exports (960x540 px) with a Floorplanner watermark. There is a 10-minute cooldown between new exports. Basic includes no monthly credits, but you can still buy them, per the Basic account help article.

Plus — $5/mo

Plus adds 4 credits a month, no export cooldown, unlimited favorites and quick exports from the dashboard, per the pricing page and the Plus account help article. At $5 a month the credits alone are worth more than the fee at one-off prices (4 × $1.63 = $6.52).

Pro — $29/mo

Pro adds 25 credits a month, premium projects by default, custom templates with title block and watermark branding, custom roomtype sets and Styleboards, per the Pro account help article. Included credits work out to $1.16 each on monthly billing.

Team, Business and Enterprise

Team ($59/mo, 54 credits) gives Pro features to up to 10 users plus user management and reports, per the Team account help article. Business ($179/mo, 182 credits, up to 100 users) adds custom 3D assets and a branded environment, per the Business help article. Enterprise ($599/mo, 739 credits, unlimited users) adds a custom Roomplanner for your website, API access, volume credit bundles and single sign-on, per the Enterprise help article; the pricing page describes it as priced per project, not per seat. The team prices are per account, not per seat.

Credits and project levels

Floorplanner charges for output, not drawing. Credits upgrade a project once, for good, and the credits help article says they are also used for Styleboards and 3D tours. Credits can be bought with or without a subscription, per this help article.

Annual vs monthly billing

Yearly billing does not lower the price. Each yearly plan is exactly 12 times the monthly fee: Plus $60, Pro $348, Team $708, Business $2,148 and Enterprise $7,188 a year. What changes is the credit allowance. Pro billed yearly includes 345 credits versus 300 over 12 monthly payments, so the effective credit price drops from $1.16 to $1.01. Plus yearly gives 55 credits versus 48; Team 656 versus 648.

What costs extra

  • Resolution. Every project above SD Lite costs 2 to 20 credits once, on every plan.
  • 3D tours and Spaceplanner links. The project levels page says they are available on upgraded projects “for an additional cost”; the credit price is Not published (checked October 2026).
  • VAT. Prices exclude VAT, which Floorplanner charges to EU buyers, per the pricing FAQ.
  • No refunds on credits, per the refund help article.
  • Credit expiry. The pricing FAQ says credits never expire, while the credit validity article says they are valid for 5 years after purchase.
  • Commercial-use terms per plan: Not published on the pricing page (checked October 2026).

Free plan, trial and education pricing

The free Basic plan is permanent rather than a trial, and a free trial of the paid plans is Not published (checked October 2026). Student or education prices are also Not published: the pricing FAQ says Floorplanner offers special plans for educational and non-profit organizations on request, and volume discounts for companies needing more than 25,000 projects a year.

When it makes sense, and when to consider an alternative

Floorplanner makes sense for homeowners, estate agents and retailers who need clean 2D and 3D floor plans in the browser and only pay when a project needs a sharper or unbranded export. One 4K project on a one-off pack costs $16.30, with no subscription at all. Our floor plan software guide compares it with RoomSketcher, Planner 5D and Cedreo.

Consider an alternative when the client needs a photorealistic render rather than a plan image. Render a House is an AI rendering tool for architects and real estate. It runs in the browser with no GPU and renders from your own design: upload a SketchUp .skp directly, a GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL model, a sketch, a photo, or a plan exported to PNG/JPG, such as a Floorplanner 3D view. Large images are downscaled automatically, and renders take about 30–60 seconds.

Free is 3 credits a day at 1K with a watermark and no card. Pro is $39/mo billed monthly or $312/yr ($26/mo billed annually), with 240 credits a month and 4K output, which is Pro only. A 1K render costs 1 credit and a 4K render 2 credits. Video is on paid plans only, a bad render gets up to 2 free retries, and there are no team seats, but projects can be shared by email with edit access. Support is by Intercom chat in the app and on the support page. See pricing or estimate a project with the render cost calculator.
