Veras Pricing 2026: Starter ($16.90/mo), Pro ($29/mo) & Ultra ($127.20/mo)
Veras by Chaos costs $16.90 a month for Starter and $29 a month for Pro when billed annually, or $20.90 and $59 billed monthly. Ultra is $127.20 a month on monthly billing, with no annual price shown. Every plan is one named license with a monthly pool of Chaos AI credits, and there is a 14-day free trial but no free plan. For architecture, Render a House is the more efficient alternative: it renders from your own design in the browser with no GPU; failed renders don't use credits, and each render includes up to 2 free retries if the result isn't right.

Quick answer
Quick answer: Veras Starter is $16.90/mo billed annually ($202.80/yr) or $20.90/mo billed monthly with 500 credits a month; Pro is $29/mo billed annually ($348/yr) or $59/mo billed monthly with 2,000 credits; Ultra is $127.20/mo billed monthly with 6,000 credits, per the Veras plans and pricing section on chaos.com. If you need a render of your own design without a CAD plugin or GPU, Render a House is the more efficient alternative for architecture: it runs in the browser without a GPU and starts free with 3 credits a day; failed renders don't use credits, and each render includes up to 2 free retries if the result isn't right.

Figures per the Veras pricing section, where every plan is "1 license", a named license, and the annual toggle shows N/A for Ultra. Images and videos draw on the same credit pool, so the image estimates and the matching video estimates (up to 100, 400 and 1,200 Veo 3.1 or Grok videos) are alternatives, not totals. Per-plan output resolution: Not published (checked October 2026).
What each Veras plan includes
All three plans list the same 30+ AI models (GPT-6 Astra, GPT Image, Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro, Veo 3.1, Claude Opus 5.5 and Grok Imagine), so the tiers differ mainly in credits. Veras runs as a plugin for SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Archicad, Vectorworks, Forma and Allplan, and as a web app, per the Veras product page. The EvolveLAB Veras page (EvolveLAB is now part of Chaos) lists Revit 2021 to 2026, SketchUp 2021 to 2025, Rhino 7 and 8, Archicad 28 and Vectorworks 2024 and 2025.
Starter — $16.90/mo billed annually
500 Chaos AI credits a month, which Chaos estimates at up to 100 GPT images, 100 Nano Banana images or 100 videos. Starter does not list 3D model generation. It costs $202.80 paid for the year, or $20.90 a month on monthly billing.
Pro — $29/mo billed annually
2,000 credits a month (4x Starter) and the ability to generate complete 3D models, estimated at about 4 GPT-6 Astra or Opus 5.5 models a month, or up to 400 images or videos. Chaos marks it as the preferred choice. It is $348 for the year or $59 month to month; the free trial’s named license also converts at $348 billed annually.
Ultra — $127.20/mo billed monthly
6,000 credits a month (3x Pro), estimated at about 12 3D models or up to 1,200 images or videos. Chaos shows $127.20 a month on monthly billing and N/A on the annual toggle, so an annual Ultra price is Not published (checked October 2026). The Veras FAQ points users who run out of credits to Ultra or to a top-up.
Annual vs monthly: the math
| Plan | 12 × monthly | Annual plan | Annual saving | Per credit, monthly | Per credit, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Veras Starter | $250.80 | $202.80 | $48.00 (19%) | $0.0418 | $0.0338 |
| Veras Pro | $708.00 | $348.00 | $360.00 (51%) | $0.0295 | $0.0145 |
| Veras Ultra | $1,526.40 | Not published (checked October 2026) | — | $0.0212 | — |
The dollar columns are our arithmetic on Chaos’s published prices. Starter billed monthly is $20.90 × 12 = $250.80 a year against $202.80 annual, a 19% saving. Pro is where annual billing matters: $59 × 12 = $708.00 against $348.00, 51% less, which matches the "Save up to 50%" label on the toggle. Annual Pro is also the cheapest credit on the page at $0.0145: it costs $145.20 a year more than annual Starter for 4x the credits.
What costs extra
- Credit top-ups. The Chaos Credits page sells packs on a monthly refresh: 250 credits for $10.80/mo billed monthly or $8.30/mo billed annually ($99.60/yr); 1,000 credits for $31.80/mo billed monthly or $25.30/mo billed annually ($303.60/yr); 3,000 credits for $63.80/mo billed monthly or $50.80/mo billed annually ($609.60/yr). Packs are floating licenses and add to a shared pool.
- No rollover. Per the same page, monthly refresh credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, and credit features stop working until more credits are added.
- Floating licenses. The plan cards are named licenses. The Veras trial page lists a floating license, shareable among users, at $528 billed annually after the trial, available once you convert to a paid subscription. Per-seat team pricing beyond that: Not published (checked October 2026); Chaos lists enterprise credit pools from 60,000 credits a year through sales.
- Refunds end when you use credits. Per Chaos’s refund eligibility article, new purchases can be refunded within 14 days only if no Chaos Credits have been used, and renewals, including trial-to-paid conversions, are not refundable.
- Taxes and commercial use. The Veras pricing fine print says prices do not include taxes and that all Chaos products are intended for professional use only, not consumer use. Output licensing terms on the plan cards: Not published (checked October 2026).
Free trial and student pricing
There is no free Veras plan. The Veras trial page offers 14 days free with 100 credits for images and video, roughly 10 Nano Banana 2 1K images or 10 AI videos. Payment starts automatically after the trial and you can cancel up to a day before it ends; the named license then bills $348 annually. Through 30 October 2026 the trial also includes up to 4 free GPT-6 Astra 3D models.
Students get Veras inside a bundle rather than as its own plan. The Chaos student page lists the Enscape Student Collection and V-Ray Student Collection at $149 billed annually ($12.42/mo) and the Corona Student Collection at $64.80 billed annually ($5.40/mo), each including Veras and 500 Chaos Credits a month. They require proof of student status and are strictly for educational use; the included Veras license is subject to fair-usage limits.
Veras pricing compared to Render a House
Render a House is an AI rendering tool for architects and real estate. It runs in the browser with no GPU and no CAD plugin, and it renders from your own design: upload a SketchUp .skp directly, a GLB, GLTF, OBJ or STL model, a sketch, a photo, or a plan exported to PNG/JPG. Large images are downscaled automatically, renders take about 30–60 seconds, and a bad render gets up to 2 free retries.
| Tool | Free option | Paid entry | Monthly allowance | Where it runs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Render a House | Free plan: 3 credits/day at 1K with a watermark, no card | Pro $39/mo billed monthly or $312/yr ($26/mo billed annually) | 240 credits on Pro; 1K render = 1 credit, 4K = 2 (Pro only); video on paid plans | Browser, no GPU |
| Veras Starter | 14-day trial, 100 credits | $16.90/mo billed annually or $20.90/mo billed monthly | 500 credits (up to 100 images) | CAD/BIM plugin or web app |
| Veras Pro | 14-day trial, 100 credits | $29/mo billed annually or $59/mo billed monthly | 2,000 credits (up to 400 images) | CAD/BIM plugin or web app |
Read honestly, annual Veras Pro is cheaper per image: Chaos’s estimate of up to 400 images for $29 works out to about $0.073 each, against $0.108 for a 1K render on Render a House Pro billed annually ($0.163 billed monthly). Month to month the gap narrows: $59 for Veras Pro against $39 for Render a House Pro. Render a House has a free plan, support through in-app chat and the support page, and projects can be shared by email with edit access, though there are no team seats or roles.

When Veras makes sense, and when to look elsewhere
Veras makes sense if you already model in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Archicad or Vectorworks and want AI options straight from the viewport, or if you want its image-to-3D model generation, which starts on Pro. Annual Pro at $29 a month is good value if you can commit to a year; students already on an Enscape, V-Ray or Corona Student Collection get it included.
Consider an alternative if you do not want a year-long commitment, since monthly Pro costs $59; if you want a free plan rather than a 14-day trial; or if the design lives in a sketch, photo or exported plan rather than a CAD file your team has licensed. Render a House covers that case in the browser. Our Render a House vs Veras comparison goes through inputs and workflow in detail.
