Archicad is the rare BIM tool that ships a real renderer at every tier, on both Windows and macOS, and it has been doing parametric BIM since before the term existed elsewhere. The built-in CineRender engine and AI Visualizer mean a studio can produce a presentable image without buying anything else — which none of Revit, SketchUp Pro or Rhino can say.

Because “included” and “the renderer you want for every job” are not the same thing. CineRender is a batch renderer — set up a camera and materials, wait minutes for a frame — and the AI Visualizer speeds styling, not raw output speed. Studios that need a live walkthrough for a client meeting still buy Enscape or Lumion on top, and studios that want options fast, before the model is finished, are the audience for Render a House.
This is not a “Revit has no renderer” situation. It is a question of which stage of the job the built-in engine is actually fast enough for.

Who should actually leave Archicad?.
There are three reasons worth the migration, and none of them is render quality — Archicad already covers that.
Consultants are on Revit already
Revit, if a client or engineer requires native .rvt files for coordination. It has no macOS build, which is the trade — priced the same way on Revit alternatives.
The budget is zero
Blender, and accept there is no BIM object model — just geometry.

What Render a House cannot do.
- Open a .pln file. Render a House reads what Archicad exports — OBJ or an image — not the native format. Archicad has no native GLB export.
- Replace Archicad's coordination role. It does not carry schedules, MEP data or sheet sets, and it is not a licence you can cancel Archicad over.
- Match CineRender's control over a specific camera, light rig and material set when that is genuinely what a deliverable needs.
- Stand in for a design decision unchecked. A render is a concept image; check openings, proportions and materials against the model before it goes to a client.
