Organize with Folders
Keep your projects tidy as your library grows.
Folders are lightweight containers for grouping related projects. Use them however works for you — by client, by address, by phase (concept vs. final), by team member.
The dashboard at a glance
The dashboard (/p) has two sections:
- FOLDERS — all your folders plus a + New Folder tile
- NO FOLDER — every project that hasn't been filed yet

Projects start in NO FOLDER by default. You move them into folders explicitly — nothing is auto-filed.
Create a folder
Two ways:
- Click the + New Folder tile in the FOLDERS section, give it a name, confirm
- While moving a project (see below), pick New Folder… from the folder submenu — creates the folder and moves the project into it in one step
Folders appear as tiles in the FOLDERS section:

Move a project into a folder
Open the project's context menu (right-click the project tile, or click the ⋯ button on the tile):

Menu options:
- Rename
- Add to favourites
- Move to folder → submenu with No folder, New Folder…, and every existing folder
- Share
- Delete (permanent — no recycle bin)
Pick a destination folder from the submenu. The project moves immediately.
Move many projects at once
Enter multi-select mode by clicking the select checkbox on any project tile. Selected projects show a checkmark:

Keep clicking tiles to add them to the selection:

A bottom action bar appears showing N selected with two actions:
- Move to folder — opens the same folder submenu as the single-project context menu
- Delete — permanently deletes all selected projects
Remove a project from a folder
Use the same Move to folder flow and pick No folder. The project returns to the NO FOLDER section.
Inside a folder
Click a folder tile to open it. You see only the projects in that folder, with an < All Projects breadcrumb to go back and a + New in [folder name] button to create a project directly inside it:

Rename a folder
Open the folder's context menu (right-click the tile, or click ⋯) and choose Rename.
Deleting projects and folders
Projects: open the project name dropdown at the top-left of the editor → Delete project, or use the context-menu Delete on the dashboard. This is permanent — no recycle bin.
Folders: folder deletion isn't self-serve yet. To remove a folder, move the projects inside it to "No folder" first, then contact support to remove the empty folder.
Tips
- Start flat. Most users don't need folders until they have 10+ projects. Don't build an elaborate folder structure on day one
- One folder per client works well for freelance architects
- One folder per building phase (concept / schematic / DD / CD) works well for larger firms
